Public Lecture Named “Cheering For Youth”
2013年5月13日下午1:20，在嘉兴职业技术学院的报告厅开展了“为青春喝彩”主题的中国大中学生励志系列公益讲座。讲座由共青团中央学校部、全国学联办公室、新东方教育科技集团共同举办。在外语与贸易分院团总支、学生会承办下，全院各班的学生代表及部门各干事参与。
At 1:20pm of May 13th, Jiaxing Vocational Technical College holds a Chinese college & high students inspirational series of public lectures named "Cheering For Youth" in the lecture hall of Teaching Building 2. The lecture is jointly sponsored by the Central School Department of Communist Youth League, Office of the Students and Scholars Association, New Oriental Education and Technology group. Student representatives from each class of the whole college are involved in the organization of Youth League general branch and Students’ Union of Foreign Language & Trade School.
讲座开始时，演讲老师为学生讲解如何为自己的青春喝彩。从小学到初中再到高中最后来到大学，学生们经历着一条漫长而又艰难的路程。在此过程中，学生们要为自己青春喝彩的努力有苦有甜，但不能放弃，坚定是前行的指路灯。在大学生活中，我们更能学会在失败中总结原因，吸取经验和教训。学习，不是一杯苦咖啡，要在咖啡中加糖使它变甜，我们也要学会品尝人生中的乐与悲。同学们听得都很认真，从中得到了有用的指导；学生时不时还与演讲老师互动，报告厅中充满了青春的朝气。
At the start of the lecture, the lecturer teaches the students how to cheer for youth. From elementary school to junior middle school, to senior, finally to university, students go on a long and difficult journey. During this process, students are experiencing bitter and sweet when cheering for youth, but never giving up and keeping firm is the heading lamp. From the life at university, we can learn to summarize in the reason for the failure, draw experiences and learn lessons. Learning can’t be a cup of bitter coffee. We need to put sugar in to make it sweeter, and we need learn to enjoy joy and sorrow in life. The students listen very carefully, and gain a useful guidance. The students interact with the lecturer from time to time, filling the Lecture Hall with youthful exuberance.
这次演讲使同学们了解到无论遇到什么困难，都要顽强地面对，想法解决，展现大学生富有朝气与活力的新面孔。同学们，为我们的青春喝彩，更为我们的人生喝彩吧！
The lecture makes the students understand that whatever difficulties we meet, we need to face them doggedly and resolve them wisely, showing our vigor and vitality. Fellow students, let’s cheer for our youth, and cheer for our life！
