3月28日下午3：30，由嘉兴职业技术学院教务处主办、外语与贸易分院承办的首届英语嘉年华活动在2#报告厅正式拉开帷幕。
开幕式由英语122班徐晓珍担任主持，陆金仙副院长致辞，陆院长娴熟的英语获得了热烈的掌声。英语专业的六位同学通过ppt向大家介绍每个比赛项目的流程与操作规则，观众席中外贸分院师生观众的积极呼应营造出热烈的会场氛围。陆金英常务副院长的宣布开幕带来了不小的炫动。
主持人徐晓珍纯正的英语和恰当的气氛调动、所有流程介绍的英语表述彰显了外贸分院姓“外”的特征，介绍中英语电影片段和英语歌曲的引入让人耳目一新，而最后的学生舞蹈表演和英语歌曲串烧为开幕式划上了完美的句号。
通过英语嘉年华活动的开幕式，我们发现了自己的潜能和创造力，对英语学习有了更大的兴趣，同时也激发和增强了我们学好英语的决心和信心。感谢学院、分院为我们创设展示自我的平台。

English Carnival Opens in Foreign Language & Trade School
At 3:30pm on March 28th, the English Carnival, sponsored by Office of Teaching Affairs and Foreign Language & Trade school, Jiaxing Vocational Technical College kicks off at Lecture Hall in Teaching Building 2.
Xu Xiaozhen from English 122 works as the hostess of the ceremony. First, Lu Jinxian, the vice dean, gives the opening speech in fluent English, which wins a heavy applause. Then follow the English introduction of the procedure and rules of each contest by PPT demonstration by 6 English majors . Active echo from the audience of teachers and students from Foreign Language & Trade School forms the enthusiastic atmosphere in the hall. The opening announcement of Lu Jinying, the Executive Vice Dean brings about a striking scream.
Xu Xiaozhen, the student hostess transfers the ceremony atmosphere in native English. All the processes are proceeding in English, which manifests the specialty of the Foreign Language School. The import of English films and native songs refreshes the audience in the course of introduction. Finally, dancing and a medley of English songs by students make a perfect end of the opening ceremony.
In the opening ceremony of English carnival, a large number of students find their own potential and creation , and become more interested in English with more confidence and determination.
