JXVTC hosts the Joint Fashion Show
On June 30th , JXVTC organized a Joint Fashion Show of fashion graduates in occasion of the inauguration on National Fashion Design Industry Community. The municipal officers, school leaders from 8 domestic vocational colleges, representatives of IUAD attended. This visual feast was broadcast live on Teccent Video worldwide, and more than 500,000 people watched it online.
Mr. Zhu Xuejun, the Secretary of the Party committee of JXVTC gave the official opening speech: We hope to create a broader platform for exchange and mutual learning of results through this inter-college cooperation, constantly stimulate students' creativity, promote the integration of industry and education, jointly explore a new path for cultivating high-quality technical talents in the fashion design industry, and write a new chapter in the high-quality development of vocational education.
Mr. Michele Lettieri, the President of IUAD spoke highly of the cooperation between IUAD and JXVTC and added: Thank JXVTC for facilitating this valuable exchange and mutual learning. Today's fashion show provides a great opportunity to explore students' creativity and strengthen exchanges and learning between the two schools, and I hope to have more fruitful results in the future.
The fashion graduates from different domestic vocational colleges displayed 17 series of originally designed costumes while the students of IUAD exhibited 8 series online. The young designers showed their individuality, presented new trends in the fashion industry, brought a fantastic visual feast to the audience, it was the best interpretation of the craftsmanship in fashion industry. There were constant applause and cheers which put the atmosphere on fire.
The representatives of IUAD were excited and gave the pertinent comments with admiration.
Prof. Carla Lettieri commented: The well-made works brought by the young designers show their thinking and exploration of fashion, as well as the unremitting pursuit of excellence. There is no doubt that it takes time and experience to complete such a big project. I am looking forward to the opportunity to cooperate with Chinese students to complete the graduation design project in the future.
Prof. Rosella Catapano added: I can see everyone's enthousiasm for fashion. The works on display are rich in subject matter and diverse in expression, which shows that young Chinese designers have begun to take an international perspective in the field of fashion. I hope you can continue to work hard, with the passion for this cause, the curiosity for new things, the insight of the world, march towards a bigger stage to display your talent.
