For the purpose of creating a cozy traditional Spring Festival atmosphere for international students staying at the college, on February 8th , Internatioanl Education Department collaborated with Logistics Support Department and branch school of Internet organizing a series of "Chinese Year" folk experience activities, teachers and students celebrated together the Spring Festival.

This activity is divided into three parts: "Ink incense to send greatings", " Flowers to welcome the Spring" and "Exploring the New Year". During the event, the teacher representatives introduced the origin of the Spring couplets and paper cutting to the vietnam students. Under the teachers’ guidance, the students wrote their New Year wishes on the spring couplets, gave full play to their imagination and creativity, cut out beautiful window flowers, and stuck spring flowers implying good wishes on the windows. The scene was permeated with a peaceful and festive atmosphere.

In the dumplings-making part, the chef of the canteen joined the introduction, hand in hand with the vietnam students to make dumplings. From learning to mix stuffing, roll skin, wrap dumplings and finally boil dumplings, vietnam students immersed themselves in the process of making dumplings, a traditional Chinese food, and made their own unique dumplings. Teachers and students talked about the technique while making the dumplings, and feel the taste of "home" on campus.
