The School of Modern Business was established in 2006. It has approximately 1300 full-time students studying in three specialties, namely the specialty of international trade practice, international business and applied English. Among these specialties, the specialty of international trade practice and international business are considered distinctive in Zhejiang Province. Currently, the school has 63 faculty members, among whom 16 are associate or full professors, 35 are qualified in more than one area.

Ø  The School of Modern Business attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' practical ability and professional quality. It actively promotes the seamless connection between internship posts and employment posts, between school teachers and industry experts, and between foreign trade majors and foreign trade industries, thus helps students become high-quality practical talents. It has 2 training bases on campus, including the training base of foreign trade and foreign language.

Ø  The School of Modern Business has established Aojie Union College, an asset-linked industry-university-research community with 12 studios, Cross-enterprise Training Center, a cross-border e-commerce training center. It has also  set up several school-enterprise cooperative training classes and implemented the modern apprenticeship training model, which provides opportunities for students to practice by learning, learn by practicing in real business situation.

Ø  In past years, more than 270 students have accumulatively won more than 150 prizes in national, provincial and municipal competitions, including 27 provincial first prizes and above. The employment rate of graduates continues to remain above 97%, which means our graduates are well received by enterprises.
