The School of Urban Construction was established in 2013. It has approximately 540 full-time students studying in 3 specialties, namely the specialty of architectural engineering technology, project budget and architectural decoration engineering technology. Among these specialties, the specialty of architectural decoration engineering technology is a pilot specialty of Modern Apprenticeship system. Currently, the school has 16 faculty members, among whom 5 are associate or full professors, 2 hold doctoral degrees, 6 are qualified in more than one area.

Ø  The School of Urban Construction promotes the cooperation between government, industry, enterprises and college and co-operates in jointly establishing educational platform. The school has more than 30 training bases outside the campus and has realized deep integration between the enterprise and the college in co-cultivating talents needed by enterprises. It emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and ability, which enhance students’ competitiveness and adaptability.

Ø  The School of Urban Construction attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' innovative and practical abilities. In the past three years, students have achieved excellent results in various skills competitions at all levels, accumulatively won 36 provincial awards. Besides, students have also obtained 32 national patents and authorizations (including 2 patents for invention and 30 utility model patents), published 10 theses and obtained 3 research projects.

Ø  The School of Urban Construction sticks to the employment-oriented principle and achieves favorable results in both admission and employment. The employment rate of graduates continues to remain above 98% in the past 6 years, which means our graduates are well received by enterprises.
